Simon, you are so right. We need to take ACTION each one of us, in any way we know how.
1. Pray
2. Donate
3. Ask yourself “What more can I do? What are my talents? What do I know how to do? How can I use that to help Japan”
I saw on CNN that a 6 year old girl in the States is selling her art to raise money to send. She asked her mom “What can we do?” and her mom said she’d donate, and the little girl replied “But what can I do?”. Mom explained fund raising and asked the child “What’s special to you?” The child said “I’m an artist..” She sold paintings in her yard and got such response that her parents are putting them on ebay for her.
If a little child can use the talent she has to help Japan, surely we all should be able to do the same.
Beyond comprehension.
The really bad news is that the worst may be yet to come!
Without exaggeration, the rest of the world will need to ensure the very survival of Japan.
God help them
Yes, I agree on this view is difficult.
But they chose a Continent rose apple or I know for a living, would select another location. Karma or fate makes and tsunami unfortunately.
Massive earthquake, devastating tsunami, catastrophic nuclear reactor meltdowns, food , water & housing issues. This is too much for Japan.
Lady Gaga has designed a wristband to raise money for victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
Yes it is awful. My nephews two kidnapped children are over there with their mother. Who is wanted for the kidnapping in the USA but is protected by the Japanese government. My nephew Chris has been going through Hell ever since she took off with them..
He actually went to Japan to try to rescue them, but was arrested when the people at the gate to the American Embassy would not open the gate for him and his children. They let the Japanese Police arrest him and rip his children from his arms.
After being tortured for 17 days and nights in one of there many Prisons. He was released after being forced to sign a confession. His passport is stamped in red that he can not fly to Japan or will risk imprisonment for the rest of his life.
Chris is very sick over his kidnapped children and now this not knowing if they are alive or dead. Pray for him and his children also. PLEASE!
Mabe we can learn new ways to save lives with vidio like this ? By understanding the distructive power of the forceses involved we mite be able to enginier safer coastal bildings?
Thank you, Simon – I have a son who has lived in Japan for over 25 years and he and his wife and daughter have done all that they could to help the people in the midst of this tragedy. They are not there themselves for which I am grateful but I appreciate what you have done to help.
