I am in full agreement with Derek’s comments. What we both seek does exist but typically it’s some guru’s assistant providing guidance at the full and very expensive mentor rates

I suppose what needs to take place is for someone with the right knowledge and experience to offer an hourly rate that is fair to both parties.

Just a thought.

Great idea best created as an assignment programme,so “Now do this” then “Now do this” and if possible unable to move daily until previous task completed.
Best taught through a series of time spaced e-mails.
Usually when a full plan is shown it is overwhelming and thus easy to ignore when something new appears easier.
Conflicting information is a problem too,when one “expert” says
“Use xxxxx” and another says “xxxx is a waste of time” So which way to turn?

Another off-putting thing is when I buy a product which is touted as the best thing around,and,once I am on the seller`s list,I get bombarded with new products in direct competition with what I`ve just bought.And I also agree with Derek above about lack of “real” support.

So if you could give honest support and a “step-by-step” system that would be great.

I think it is a great idea. I have ben trying for nearly 18 months now and it is really hard, with all the hyppe and b.s you end up buying products and wasting time and money on things that don’t work. I don’t have much spare time and I need to know and concentrate on what does work. I probably need a mentor who can advise me and help me to make something of the sites that I have alredy created. It’s like a fog out there that sometimes lets through a few rays of sunshine, but the fog still remains. I will watch with interest.

sounds like a good idea to me too Mark, there are those of us who have to ‘live’ and can’t afford the funds to ‘buy’ these programs and then find out that they don’t work anyway. Especially if the first one or two don’t work and you’re left with nothing at all to work with.

I like the idea. Personally, I’d like it to be like a mentor type program. For example, start from scratch, but work closely with the member having them do the work instead of you doing the work for them.

It seems that’s where I get stuck. I feel like I’ve read everything out there and tried to follow it step by step, but nothing ever seems to work as easily as the person writing it says it does. Then,when it doesn’t work, I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong.

It would be great to just have a mentor that could answer questions any time I had them.

For example, take affiliate marketing.

Have a mentor help me look through keywords and have them agree that I’ve chosen what looks like a good keyword or a keyword they would have chosen in a good niche.

Write an article and have a mentor read the article, make suggestions etc.

Set up a squeeze page and say, here’s what I have created. What do you think? What do you recommend I change? From your perspective is this a good capture page?

Being able to ask the mentor, what should I be doing every day to drive traffic to my site? Should I create a free report to give away? Am I doing things right and the way you would do them if you were in my place?

What I’ve found from most programs is everyone sends out emails saying “Contact me if you have any questions. I’m here to help”, but then when you contact them you never get a response, or you get a real short, unhelpful response.

I realize someone with a list of tens of thousands of people probably gets too many questions to reply to them all, but it’s frustrating when they offer help, but then don’t give it.

It would just be nice to have someone who would take a look at what I’m doing and offer suggestions on what my next steps should be or what I’m doing wrong that’s keeping it from working like it works for other people.
